Kids Ministry

Elim Kidz - life is an adventure and that's what we have each and every Sunday. We believe in engaging with our children and creating an interactive church environment. Within our church service we run LifeGroups, small/large group teaching, games, worship, prayer and missions. We reinforce to our children that it's ok to ask "why do we did this?", "what does this mean for me?", "How do I apply this to my life?" Our leaders are open and honest with our children and will do their best to answer any question the children have on what we are teaching. We challenge our children to not just learn about it, but to apply it and be active in their faith.
Lifegroups and Services:

NURSERY: Babies and Toddlers newborn to 2 years old. Sunday 10am in the Visitors Lounge.
EXPLORERS: Children aged Newborn to 5 years old. It's a great time worshipping, dancing, and exploring the people of the Bible. There are fun activities and great people who do an amazing job of caring for your child. Sunday 10am Conference Room.
SUPERHEROES: Children from 6yrs to 10yrs old. Kid's church is an amazing place where everyone is involved, and where our kids lead the worship and prayer time. We have a fun and entertaining way of telling the adventures of our Bible Heroes, and we believe that our kids are SUPERHEROES, sent by God to save the world. Sunday 10am Youth Centre.

We are about Loving God; as the youth of Dunedin, being all out for God. We do life together; enjoying the good and the bad together. And we bring Life to others, in our schools, homes and sport teams. We take our cue from John Wesley who said “Catch on fire with passion and people will come for miles to watch you burn.”
Lifegroups and Services:
- YOUTH CHURCH: youth aged 11- 14. Sunday 10am – Meet in main church auditorium youth section
- ALTA YOUTH: High School Youth night Fridays 6:30pm – 8:30pm in the conference room (main building) & ALTA BAND @ 5:30pm
- ALTA BAND: We want young people to experience worship in exciting and current ways. Jamming session OPEN to everyone but Band membership will be limited.

Elim International Service is for everyone, and we are committed to reach people of all nations in this city for Christ. If you are from overseas, come and find out for yourself the life we enjoy together as a family. Indeed, it is a "home away from home" experience.

Women loving God, doing life together and bringing Life to others. We are daughters of the King, women of strength and character, spreading the love of Christ.

We believe we have a responsibility to take the message of Jesus to the world. We can't save all of it, but we can save a part of it. We believe God has called us to focus our efforts strategically into Southeast Asia. We send 2-3 trips per year into the Philippines and Indonesia. We support and partner with pastors and church workers in Java, Kalimantan and Manilla. We partner with International Needs to meet spiritual, physical, and educational needs.
We are a part of the 'Bring the Love' monthly campus outreach.
We support local evangelists working with Tandem Ministries to reach our students.

• We want people to experience worship in vibrant and contemporary ways. Our heart is to connect people with Jesus, worshiping God in spirit and truth. Worship is a priority in our services, as we believe music that is God honouring and anointed releases the power of the Holy Spirit.
Practices

Our team oversee the accounts, data entry, banking, infodesk and reporting. This provides our pastors and elders with financial and statistical reports to assist them in overseeing and measuring the effectiveness of our church. We operate a transparent policy with our finances. We are accountable to Elim head office, our Elders and congregation. All finances go through the office to facilitate this accountability.
As a church, we are committed to the principal of giving a percentage of our income away from ourselves and we direct this money mainly into missions in New Zealand and Asia.
